Dollar General (DG) downgraded to Underperform from Neutral at BofA with analyst Robert Ohmes saying the stock may be pressured by higher gas prices with which it has been historically negatively correlated and a recovery in convenience store traffic. 2. Discovery (DISCA) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at MoffettNathanson with analyst Michael Nathanson saying while he gives the company “high marks” for the boldness of its action and the long-term value creation it could see from HBO Max after the WarnerMedia (T) deal, he thinks it “appears likely that Discovery’s stock will be stuck over the near-term.” 3. Campbell Soup (CPB) downgraded to Hold from Buy at Jefferies with analyst Rob Dickerson saying while he had recommended the stock as one to own if looking for lower volatility and safety through the pandemic, he now sees elevated at-home household penetration sustainability as a risk and notes that Campbell has lower away-from-home exposure than peers amid the reopening of the economy. 4. Mosaic (MOS) downgraded to Hold from Buy at HSBC with analyst Santhosh Seshadri saying the impact of the increase in phosphate and potash prices will be greater than higher input and freight costs, contributing to “solid earnings growth.” 5. Apollo Investment (AINV) downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Wells Fargo with analyst Finian O’Shea saying that with Apollo’s de-leveraging complete and credit lookback support “about to fade,” he’s more cautious over a “likely more moderate return” per unit of risk going forward.
