Teradyne (TER) upgraded to Positive from Neutral at Susquehanna with analyst Mehdi Hosseini saying following the Q2 earnings report, expectations are reset and the “headwinds have now been dialed in the share price.” 2. Raytheon Technologies (RTX) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Argus with analyst John Eade saying the company’s business mix appears favorable compared to that of most defense industry peers and its management has also recently raised its dividend by 7%. 3. Spotify (SPOT) upgraded to Neutral from Sell at UBS with analyst Batya Levi citing the company’s improved financial results, expectations for better monthly active user trends post-pandemic, traction with new initiatives and a more attractive valuation given the stock’s underperformance. 4. CyrusOne (CONE) double upgraded to Outperform from Underperform at Raymond James with analyst Frank Louthan believing that a turnaround or sale of the company is more imminent, and feels that the assets and the framework at CyrusOne are solid enough that they can be fixed by either going private or re-introducing a solid leadership team into the business. 5. Cirrus Logic (CRUS) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Craig-Hallum with analyst Anthony Ross noting the company reported results above estimates on higher smartphone volumes in Android, content gains in smartphones, and an uptick of sales in laptops.
