We picked the 15 countries that reported the highest level of alcohol consumption and arranged them from least to most. The country has a high alcohol consumption, roughly 11.90 liters of pure alcohol per person, almost double that of the global average which sits at 6.18 liters of pure alcohol per person. Slovenia ranks among the countries that consume the most alcohol.

Slovenia’s wine region is one of the oldest in the world and produces some of the finest wines in the world.
