David Tepper’s Appaloosa buys KE Holdings, exits Apple in Q3

David Tepper’s Appaloosa Management disclosed in an SEC filing its holdings as of September 30, 2023. The fund’s one new buy during the third quarter include KE Holdings (BEKE). Appaloosa exited several positions during the quarter, including by size of previous position Marvell Technology (MRVL), Broadcom (AVGO), Apple (AAPL), Synopsys (SNPS), and Constellation Energy (CEG). The fund increased its holdings in Meta (META), Microsoft (MSFT), PDD (PDD), Alphabet Class C (GOOG), and Amazon (AMZN) and reduced its holdings in TSMC (TSM), Baidu (BIDU), Qualcomm (QCOM), Alibaba (BABA), and AMD (AMD). Appaloosa’s top holdings as of September 30, in order of size, were Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia (NVDA), and Alphabet Class C.
