A number of private equity firms have been considering a buyout of Peloton as company looks to refinance its debt and get back to growth, Gabrielle Fonrouge of CNBC report, citing people familiar with the matter. Peloton in recent months has had talks with at least one firm as it considers going private, sources told CNBC. A number of other private equity firms have been circling Peloton as an acquisition target, but it’s unclear if they have held formal discussions, the journalists add. Shares of Peloton are up 21%, or 73c, to $4.27 following the report.
