10:16 AM EST – Frontera Energy Corporation : Announces the preliminary results of its substantial issuer bid pursuant to which the Company offered to purchase from shareholders for cancellation up to CAD$40.5 million (equivalent to US$30 million) of its outstanding common shares at a purchase price of CAD$12.00 per Share. The Offer, as amended by the notice of variation dated September 27, expired at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern time) on October 17. Frontera Energy Corporation (T.FEC) shares were down $0.06 at 8.39.
