On November 12, news publication The Wall Street Journal reported that Shailesh Prakash, a vice president and general manager for Google News, has resigned from his post. The resignation comes amid ongoing Google disputes with news publications over AI content generation as well as how the search engine drives traffic toward different websites, according to the Journal.
