EDF (EDFEF.PK) announced the disposal of the totality of its non-strategic stake in Exelon (EXC.N) at the year end 2012, representing 1.6% of the share capital of the NYSE-listed company.
The disposal generated nearly $470 million proceeds, corresponding to an average selling price of $34.70 per share i.e. an 18.6% premium on Exelon’s latest closing share price.
