Lindsay Lohan has refused an offer for $550,000 to appear on the next season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” According to a source, who spoke with TMZ, the actress is looking to focus on films and has no interest in reality programming.
The news comes as a bit of a shock to some, following reports that Lohan owes hundreds of thousands in back taxes. The New York Post reports that Katherine Webb, former Miss Alabama and quarterback AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, has also been offered a spot on the show. She denied that report.
Lohan recently starred in a Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” and has a cameo in the upcoming Adrien Brody flick “InAPPropriate.” She is also featured in the low budget feature from director Paul Schrader, “The Canyons.”
The 16th season of “Dancing with the Stars” airs at 8 PM EST on March 18.
