A quote from Jeff Gundlach;
I didn’t anticipate the magnitude of the liquidation phase in the bond market. I have thought that the 10-year yield should be below 2.5%.
If Gundlach didn’t get it exactly right then how many people will? No one will get every twist and turn in the markets correct. Knowing this ahead of time is an advantage and places great emphasis on remaining true to your investment strategy/discipline and avoiding succumbing to emotion.
It is one thing to have emotions, it is another to succumb to them.
