Welcome to Wall Street Connected (with Warren Buffett)

Quote of The Day:

“I will tell you the secret to getting rich on Wall Street. You try to be greedy when others are fearful. And you try to be fearful when others are greedy.” ~ Warren Buffett

Welcome to your first issue of Wall Street Connected!

It’s only Wednesday and it’s already been quite an eventful week, so let’s look at how that’s impacting the research activities of financial professionals. Wednesday issues will always highlight surging stocks and industries on Wall Street for you, and provide expert market insight.

As you will see, internet retail ranks #5 in surging industries researched by financial professionals with at least $1B+ in assets under management. Given that COVID-19 cases are unfortunately rising around the world, consumers are preferring (and in some cases, limited to) e-commerce now more than ever. Keep an eye on internet retailers, as we head into the holiday season – they could do more business than ever (more on everyone’s favorite internet retailer).

Following its 10/29/20 initial public offering, Fisker Incorporated (FSR) traded on 31.1M in volume upon shares being made available to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Naturally, this will attract the attention of financial professions. Add options being made available to be traded on it a couple days ago, and FSR is currently ranking second in demand by financial professionals. More on the vehicle maker, FSR.

Despite internet retail becoming more prevalent, grocery stores still need electronic signage at their registers to help manage traffic or provide important announcements. After having gained 250% in price-per-share on October 21, Insignia Systems (ISIG) has become a popular small-cap stock to own by traders and investors alike. Today, ISIG ranks #10 on surging stock data-flow by financial professionals with $1B+ in assets under management. More on ISIG.
