Goldman Sachs analyst Heath Terry previewed Amazon Web Services’ annual user conference, AWS re:Invent, saying he expects product announcements on par with last year and sees the potential for further partnership announcements. At its “Midnight Madness” kick-off, the company has already announced Amazon Sumerian, five AWS Elemental Media Services and Amazon ML Solutions Lab, Terry noted. He expects AI and machine learning, IoT services, and “Serverless” to be the most talked about topics at the event, Terry added. He maintains a Buy rating on Amazon, keeps it on the firm’s Conviction List and raised his price target on the stock to $1,450 from $1,300.
