Eaton (ETN) upgraded to Neutral from Underperform at BofA/Merrill with analyst Andrew Orbin saying management outlined its long-term strategy for Industrial and Electrical segments growth and said a recent inflection in Electrical provides better visibility on margins. 4. Splunk (SPLK) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Argus with analyst Joseph Bonner saying the company is in a fast-growing market, though its success will depend on the execution of a ramp in software sales along with capturing market share without pressure on margins. 5. Dollar Tree (DLTR) upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays with analyst Karen Short saying she views the company’s outlook as conservative and believes the recent share selloff provides an attractive entry point.
