Nice day yesterday buttoning up my bearish positions on Facebook, and today I’ve got my eyes on a “Buffett buy stock” which UBS financial professionals do as well.
It’s trading in what’s known as a ‘Buffett buy zone’ due to its current discounted price-per-share.
And yesterday this stock received a $157k bullish cash infusion.
The chart looks a little something like this…

Airline stocks have been a focal point of many media outlets, investors, traders and shareholders in 2020, including American Airlines (NYSE: AAL).
In fact, even legendary investor Warren Buffet sold out of all of his shares of airline stocks.
But that doesn’t mean he may not consider re-buying airline stocks in the future… As you may know, Buffett likes to buy stocks as discounts. Given AAL’s beatdown in price-per-share since March of 2020, one could say it is trading at a discount.
I’ve even heard fellow traders referring to AAL’s price-per-share as “trading in a Buffet buy zone.”
As the world progresses in re-openings despite a spike in COVID-19 cases, we still don’t know if borders will open and travel will resume to business as usual in 2020, but it would appear companies such as airlines are in a brighter spot than they were a few weeks ago.
And here’s what really starts to get my attention…
Over the last week I’ve witnessed bulls buying into bullish positions on AAL, including an option player buying $157k worth of AAL July 2 14 Calls just yesterday.
Is something bullish brewing with AAL? If it is, I certainly want a piece of it! And courtesy of exposing Wall Street’s trading, now I know exactly where to go if I want to make a move during today’s trading session.
You’ll notice in the chart above that AAL has short-term support at its 50-day simple moving average line shown in red.
If markets go red-to-green and AAL does as well, I may be interested in buying those exact same call options for a fast-moving trade.
And of course, I’ll be monitoring exactly into where financial professionals are putting money, how much they’re spending, and what their sentiment is through today’s trading session.
I’ll summarize their activity up into a short and sweet watchlist and send it your way this afternoon, so keep an eye on your inbox for an email from me.
