1. Gildan Activewear (GIL) upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at BMO Capital, upgraded to Outperformer from Neutral at CIBC and upgraded to Outperform from Sector Perform at RBC Capital.

2. Papa John’s (PZZA) upgraded to Outperform from Perform at Oppenheimer with analyst Brian Bittner saying following a 25% pullback, the shares “undervalue the merits” of Papa John’s “transforming investment story.”

3. Owens Corning (OC) upgraded to Neutral from Underweight at JPMorgan with analyst Michael Rehaut saying consensus estimates are now more reasonable and Owens has a “more solid runway” for margin improvement in Insulation based on a positive outlook for housing starts in 2021 and 2022.

4. Spirit Airlines (SAVE) upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan with analyst Jamie Baker saying the company’s Q4 outlook is “refreshingly differentiated from peers,” as it drives a slight improvement to earnings estimates and a “more significant improvement” in its liquidity forecast.

5. Cheesecake Factory (CAKE) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Gordon Haskett with analyst Jeff Farmer citing his view that the company is positioned for “a multi-quarter run” of upward EBITDA and EPS revisions.
