Optimism for Pfizer… and Cannabis

As we enter a new week, traders and investors alike appear optimistic regarding the future of the global economy in response to Biden’s win and Pfizer announcing their COVID-19 vaccine is more than 90% effective.

It’s interesting that ranking #9 and #19 in total traffic by financial professionals over the course of this past week are – get this – cannabis stocks.

Cronos Group Inc (CRON) and Aurora Cannabis Inc (ACB) gained up to 66% in price-per-share as Biden’s gains in national polls raised cannabis reform hopes.

With much of the world patiently waiting for a COVID-19 vaccine, hearing that Pfizer’s newest vaccine attempt is more than 90% effective may come as a relief to many individuals.
